Shakib Al Hasan continued his good form for county side Worcestershire with another quickfire half-century against the Unicorns in a Group A match of the Clydesdale Bank 40-overs-a-side tournament at the Chester Road North ground in Kidderminster yesterday.
The left-hander struck eight boundaries and a couple of sixes in his 61-ball 72, but fell to Michael O'Shea in the 23rd over after adding 113 for the fourth wicket with right-hander Daryl Mitchell.
Worcestershire were 194 for 4 in 30 overs with Mitchell batting on 62 and James Cameron on 22.
The Unicorns are a team made up of players without first-class contracts.
Shakib had earlier made an impression on his debut game in the four-day competition with a 90 in the first innings, followed by a three-wicket haul in the drawn game against Derbyshire that ended on Saturday.
